Ben Goodman

 

Ben Goodman has been working in the wine industry for almost three decades.  He began his journey in hospitality on the East Coast of the USA before fine tuning his skills in the competitive California wine scene. A chance meeting of a (fabulous) Aussie girl led to now 20 years in the Australian wine industry, plus two kids, a cat, two dogs, three horses and a semi-rural property in the hills outside of Melbourne.

 

Ben’s journey spans across the entire industry, having worked multiple vintages both in the vineyard and winery, as well as providing exceptional customer experience in cellar doors.

 

In addition to his understanding of production and the customer experience, Ben brings a business savvy to his clients, honed as the sales and marketing manager for several wineries, as an account manager for a major wine distributor, and for the last six years as the senior buyer then Head of Buying for one of Australia’s largest wine retailers.

 

His broad experience allows for a multi-faceted holistic approach to consulting to any variety of wine business.

 

He now brings his knowledge, connections, and post-grad business and marketing degrees to helping wineries put their best grape forward.
