What's in a logo? Is it just an image or something more
Look a bit closer... go a bit deeper... would a simple picture represent you? Your business? Your values and beliefs?
Take the Refinished Logo for example.
For me it was really important that it represented our value systems, beliefs and what we want to deliver.
Here are a few things about it; It needs to tell a story. Gabrielle Dolan talks about the importance of the science in story telling, and I believe that your logo is the first story you can tell clients about your business
So let's look at the RFB logo;
- It's a bridge first and foremost; WE aim to bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to go!
- It's an infinity loop; TO represent the journey of ongoing growth and learning
- The arc has a shadow, no it's a loop, no a... FLEXIBILITY is key. If we stay static, we don't change, if we are open to flexibility and surrender to the journey, nothing is impossible (except time travel... yet)
- As for the colours... Well I just really liked them! A bit of corporate to appease that side, and a bright bit of punch, because, well why not!
So there you have it. What does your logo say about you? Does it represent who you are? What you want to become? Do your values align with ours?
